+ Wat Phnom Hill: It is a famous city landmark. This symbol of Phnom Penh was built in 1434 to house the sacred relics. Today, Wat Phnom remains the highest artificial hill in Phnom Penh and center of many forms of leisurely activities.

+ Toul Sleng Genocide Museum: Prior to 1975, it was a high school. When the Khmer Rouge came to power, it was converted into the S-21 prison and interrogation facility. The building now serves as museum, a memorial and testament to the madness of Khmer Rouge regime.

+ Killing Field: This one is the site of the brutal executions of more than 17,000 individual, most of who first suffered through interrogation, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison (S-21) in Phnom Penh.

+ Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda:
Royal Palace built in 1866 on the site of the former citadel, is a crowning example of Cambodian architecture because it is the official residence of Khmer’s King. Silver Pagoda was named because of the 5000 silver tiles (each weighing 1kg) in the floor of the temple. Also on display is the holiest Buddha image in Cambodia, Preah Keo (the Emerald Buddha).

+ Central Market: The Phsar Thom Thmei “the big new market or Central Market” erected in Art Deco in 1930 is a Phnom Penh Landmark. Its central Yellow dome sprouting four wings is chockfull of stalls selling clothing, shoes, bags, cosmetic, stationery, and souvenirs.

+ SUNSET BOAT CRUISE ALONG : In the evening, the riverside along Sisowath Quay offers many night cruises up and down the Mekong River. These cruise can be quite aromatic experience and best of all, these are usually not costly.
